Imanol provides triple injury update ahead of Real Sociedad’s clash Alavés

Real Sociedad head coach Imanol has provided an insight into the wellbeing of his squad, ahead of their impending return to action.

Sociedad will take to the pitch for the first time since the close of the international break on Sunday evening.

A La Liga meeting with Alavés lies in store, with La Real in the knowledge that a 3rd victory on the trot would see them further solidify the club’s spot in the top-6.

Speaking in a press conference on Saturday, the personnel situation in his squad, in turn, was put to the aforementioned Imanol.

As much comes amid what has proven an injury-ravaged season to date at Anoeta.

And, in his response, Sociedad’s headmaster went on to provide updates on all of Álvaro Odriozola, Jon Aramburu, and Ander Barrenetxea.

“Álvaro is not here yet but Jon Mikel I see him better,” Imanol began, as cited by Mundo Deportivo. “He is not at his best point yet, that is why he is not called up. He will be better next week. The rest are fine. Those from the national teams have come in well. If Barrene is there it is because he can lend a hand. We are not going to give clues.”
