Real Madrid-bound Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappé is being afforded a helping hand in his efforts to organise his new life in Spain by none other than Blancos icon Sergio Ramos.
That’s according to French outlet L’Equipe, who have on Friday provided an insight into the latest developments in Mbappé’s La Liga switch.
It is of course football’s worst-kept secret that frontman Mbappé is all set to link up with Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded Real Madrid ranks this summer.
After informing French champions PSG of his decision not to extend his expiring terms last month, the 25-year-old has been locked in negotiations with the Santiago Bernabéu brass ever since, over the terms of a pre-contract.
Though work remains to be done, it is viewed as all but a formality that a deal will soon be struck, with Real Madrid at long last set to land a player who has been in their sights for the best part of a decade now.
Mbappé, in turn, has already set about putting in place living arrangements in Spain, with reports across the week to date having pointed towards the former Monaco man’s mother-agent visiting a number of properties to source a suitable home.
Luckily for Mbappé, though, he will have the inside scoop on the best areas to settle down, by a player to have spent the bulk of his legendary career plying his trade on the books of Real.
As per the aforementioned L’Equipe, Sergio Ramos is playing an active role in his ex-PSG teammate’s search for a house.
The pair have been in contact for several weeks regarding the subject, with the possibility even existing that Ramos – now of Sevilla – could sell one of his numerous properties in Madrid to Mbappé over the coming months.
