Real, of course, are currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Getafe.
As things stand early in the 2nd-half in Spain’s capital, Los Blancos find themselves in possession of a two-goal advantage, and well on their way to a return to winning ways.
This comes owing to goals on the part of Jude Bellingham, and the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé.
The latter’s strike was of a particularly spectacular nature, Mbappé having cut in from the left to bend a sumptuous effort from 20 yards in off the base of the far post.
After a hugely trying evening for the Frenchman at Liverpool in midweek, the relief was etched all over Mbappé’s face upon his finish rippling the Getafe net.
And he was not the only one, the usually cool and collected Carlo Ancelotti having been spotted passionately celebrating on the sideline.
