How much Real Madrid intend to pay to sign Rodri

La Liga giants Real Madrid will not break the bank to bring Manchester City star and key transfer target Rodri back to his home country this summer.

This comes amid the understanding that the brass at the Bernabéu have put in place a reasonable cap on what they are willing to shell out on the former Villarreal man.

Rodri is of course now widely reported to have positioned himself at the top of Real Madrid’s wishlist with a view to the new season.

After witnessing first-hand his spectacular campaign at the World Cup with Spain, Florentino Pérez and his team of directors have decided to go all-in on the 30-year-old.

Ahead of the expiration of Rodri’s contract terms in Manchester next summer, however, Los Blancos will not pay over the odds.

As per a report from club insider Sergio Valentín:

‘The club’s forecast is to close a deal that doesn’t exceed 60 million euros.’
