Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick could secure for himself a place in the history books of Spanish football’s biggest fixture this weekend.
This comes ahead of the Blaugrana’s crunch showdown with arch rivals Real Madrid.
Barcelona are of course primed to return to action on Sunday afternoon, in a crunch top-of-the table La Liga meeting with Carlo Ancelotti’s reigning champions Real.
Emerge on the right side of the result, and the Catalans will be all but assured of the title in Spain’s top-flight.
Not only that, but, should he oversee another victory in El Clásico, then the aforementioned Hansi Flick will etch his name indellibly into the record books.
Barcelona have gone head-to-head with Real Madrid on three occasions thus far this season, securing wins in all three.
Should this flawless record be maintained on Sunday, as per Diario Sport, Flick will in turn become the first manager to ever triumph in four separate Clásicos in the same campaign.
