As reported by journalist Matteo Moretto, Valencia can rest easy with Javi Guerra for now, despite interest from some of Europe’s elite clubs.
Despite reports linking the midfielder with a move to Juventus, there is no offer on the table from the Italian club, who do rate the player and have a long-standing interest in him. Juventus have been monitoring and following Guerra for quite some time, like other top European clubs, however, the 20-year-old is unlikely to move at this time due to Valencia demanding a high amount of money for his transfer, meaning the most likely destination would be the Premier League rather than Serie A.
Los Che have no intention of selling the player in January due to his importance to the team, but the club have braced themselves for offers in the summer.
The Spaniard has made 16 appearances this season, scoring on three occasions and also registering one assist during this period. Guerra renewed his contract earlier this year in a deal that commits him to the club until 2027. The contract also includes a €100m release clause.
