Footage highlighting the talents of new Barcelona signing David Oduro has this weekend come to the fore online.
The name of defender Oduro has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 24 hours.
This comes after the brass at the Camp Nou pushed a quickfire agreement for the Ghanaian’s signature over the line.
The 18-year-old, long held in high regard in his home country, has linked up with Barca Atlètic for the season ahead.
So, just who is Oduro?
The starlet, a defender who generally operates at left-back, has spent recent seasons plying his trade on the books of Ghanaian outfit Accra Lions.
Despite his tender years, Oduro was called up to the club’s senior squad back in 2022, since building a reputation for himself as a potential star in the making.
The stopper boasts a whole host of impressive individual traits – dribbling, pace, touch, a wide range of passing and excellent technique – just some of which can be seen in the clip below:
