As it was revealed by Gerard Romero and communicated on Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are still considering to make a move for Héctor Bellerín if they are unable to sign Thomas Meunier.
It was reported earlier that the Blaugrana are planning to send Sergiño Dest on loan to Villarreal as he is not part of the project that Xavi is building at Barcelona.
The Catalan outfit’s number one target is Borussia Dortmund’s Meunier, however, they are struggling to meet the German club’s asking price.
As the transfer window is nearing its close, Barcelona are shifting their attention to Héctor Bellerín. Even though the Spaniard has an agreement in place with Arsenal until June 2023, he wants to leave North London and it is believed that the Gunners are ready to terminate his contract.
While Bellerín has offers from other clubs, he is keen on joining Barcelona and is willing to wait for the opportunity to join the Blaugrana.
