‘He has everything’ – Kylian Mbappé praises Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has this week revealed his appreciation for the talents of Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal.

Attackers Mbappé and Lamine have of course continued to dominate the headlines across world football over recent days. Both played leading roles in the Champions League, as their respective clubs got their European campaigns up and running with three points.

Not only that, but the pair featured front and centre on the 30-man shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, considered as being amongst the very favourites to lift the coveted prize.

And as alluded to above, this week, Mbappé has admitted that he is a keen admirer of the talents of the Spanish World Cup winner.

Putting club rivalries to one side for a moment, the 27-year-old, during an interview with L’Équipe in his home country of France, revealed his take that Lamine ‘has everything’:

“Which players excite me right now? I don’t want to name names because if I forget someone… To say who the ten or fifteen best players in the world are, I think everyone would agree.

”Among the youngsters, Lamine Yamal. He has everything.

”I also like Estevão; he has a special creativity. Here, Arda Güler can go very far. Endrick has potential; he’s a goalscorer. Warren (Zaïre-Emery) and Désiré (Doué) are going to have great careers, for sure.”
