Hansi Flick takes ownership of Xavi’s Barcelona club car

Incoming Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has taken over ownership of the club car previously made use of by predecessor Xavi.

That’s according to Jijantes, who have on Friday provided an insight into the situation.

Tactician Flick, for his part, got back to work in Catalunya’s capital earlier today.

After departing for his summer vacation on the back of being named new Barcelona headmaster, the German has returned, ahead of kicking pre-season preparations into gear next week.

On Friday, Flick first met with director Bojan in the morning, before being greeted by president Joan Laporta later in the day.

And, during discussions with the latter, it would appear that the former Bayern Munich boss was informed of his latest personal benefit as part of his role on the Camp Nou bench.

This comes with the aforementioned Jijantes having confirmed that:

‘As a curiosity, Flick has inherited the club car that Xavi had during his two and a half years as coach.’
