Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has this weekend spoken out on the incoming arrival of José Mourinho at Real Madrid.
This of course comes amid the widespread understanding that the Portuguese has been chosen as the latest installation on the Bernabéu bench.
Mourinho is expected to be unveiled as the latest Real Madrid boss at any moment, marking the iconic tactician’s 2nd spell in Spain’s capital.
This also means that the aforementioned Hansi Flick will have a new face to contend with on the opposite side of the Clásico divide next season.
Barcelona are fresh off securing a 2nd successive La Liga title under the watch of their German headmaster, dominating Real Madrid along the way.
Speaking to the media this weekend, Flick was therefore drawn on the prospect of locking horns with Mourinho on the touchline.
Asked if he feels ready for the challenge, the 61-year-old assured:
“Of course. He’s a coach like everyone else.”
