Hansi Flick rewards Barcelona stars for pre-season efforts

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has afforded his players something of a reward, for their endeavours over the course of the club’s pre-season tour of the USA.

That’s according to Diario AS, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barca, of course, are fresh off taking to the pitch for the latest occasion in the early hours of Wednesday.

In the third and final fixture of the club’s tour of the United States, the Blaugrana locked horns with AC Milan, battling to a 2-2 stalemate, before ultimately losing out on penalties.

Evidently, though, as much did not at all negatively affect the view of new manager Hansi Flick when it comes to the club’s pre-season as a whole.

In fact, as per the aforementioned AS:

‘The German coach is more than satisfied with the work of his men in this preseason’, following back-to-back victories over Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Flick, as a result, has ‘rewarded’ his squad, with some well-earned rest.

After touching back down in Catalunya earlier today, Barcelona’s players were informed that they will have a full three days of rest to come.

Training sessions will not resume until Saturday, with a view to Monday’s Joan Gamper Trophy meeting with Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
