Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has moved to reveal his appreciation for the efforts of four particular members of his squad across the season to date.
This, of course, comes fresh off a hugely exciting, but ultimately disappointing evening’s work for Barcelona on Tuesday.
The Blaugrana are fresh off playing their part in one of the games of the Spanish campaign to date, en route to a 4-4 Copa del Rey draw with Atlético Madrid.
As much, though, only came about owing to a late collapse on Barca’s part, which saw Atlético find the net twice in the fixture’s closing moments.
Speaking to the media post-match, the subject of his players’ efforts were in turn put to Hansi Flick once more.
And though Flick was understandably critical of the manner in which Barcelona allowed their opponents back into the game, he also made sure to focus on some positives.
Specifically, the German explained:
“Alejandro Balde has improved a lot this season. Pau (Cubarsí), Pedri and Frenkie (de Jong) too.”
