Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick was keen to assure that his players are capable of far better than the performance conjured up against Levante on Sunday.
This comes despite the Blaugrana having ultimately emerged with all three points.
Flick guided his side into their sixth outing of the campaign earlier today, making the trip to Valencia with eyes on a sixth successive win at the expense of the aforementioned Levante.
When all was said and done, this is precisely what the visitors managed, notching four more goals to take their season tally to a remarkable 26.
But as alluded to above, left far from impressed with the overall level of display produced by his players was Barcelona’s headmaster.
Speaking to the media following the full-time whistle at the Estadi Ciutat de València, Hansi Flick admitted:
“It was NOT our best match… The results may make it seem like we’re playing our best, but we are not.”
