Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has this weekend provided an insight into the club’s goals for the remainder of the 2026/27 campaign.
Barca are of course fresh off arguably the most impressive start to the term of any club in Europe’s top-5 leagues. Across five outings between domestic and European competition, the Blaugrana have racked up five wins.
Not only that, but in the process, Flick’s troops have racked up an astounding 22 goals, whilst allowing just three at the other end of the pitch.
With summer signings Rodri, Karim Adeyemi and Anthony Gordon still settling into their new surroundings in Catalunya’s capital, many, in turn, have already gone as far as to label Barcelona the early favourites to lift the Champions League.
And success on the continent appears to be have been identified as something of a priority amongst those behind the scenes the Camp Nou, too.
Drawn on his side’s goals for the season ahead during an exchange with the media on Saturday, Hansi Flick admitted:
“This year we want to win the Champions League; it is our goal. But it is also important to win LaLiga. Winning it three times in a row would be incredible.”
