Hansi Flick called another Barcelona youngster up to first-team training before Sociedad

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick afforded an opportunity to impress to another up-and-coming member of the club’s reserve setup on Saturday.

The player in question? Noah Darvich.

Barcelona are of course in the midst of final preparations for a return to action tomorrow night.

Fresh off seven successive victories across all competitions, the Blaugrana will make the trip to Anoeta, for a tricky La Liga meeting with Real Sociedad.

On the eve of the clash, Barcelona were forced to make do without a couple of first-team regulars, as both Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal sat out owing to illness and fatigue respectively.

And as much opened the door for some of Barca Atlètic’s star performers from recent weeks to step up.

As confirmed by Diario Sport, Unai Hernández and Andrés Cuenca were both called up for senior training at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper once more on Saturday.

Even more noteworthy, though, was the inclusion of Noah Darvich.

After enduring a difficult start to the campaign in Catalunya’s capital, attacking midfielder Darvich has managed to get things back on track over recent weeks.

And Hansi Flick, a firm believer in the talents boasted by his fellow countryman, rewarded the German starlet for these endeavours with a rare chance to test himself amongst Barcelona’s star-studded first-team squad earlier today.
