Granada’s Marc Martínez switch opens door for André Ferreira to join Valladolid

La Liga outfit Granada have this evening announced a new addition to the club’s goalkeeper ranks.

The latest player to have linked up with the Nazaríes? Marc Martínez.

After seeking out reinforcements between the posts owing to the ongoing fitness struggles being endured by Raúl Fernández, Martínez arrives from Segunda strugglers Cartagena on a permanent deal.

He joins Augusto Batalla as the 2nd goalkeeping addition to Alexander Medina’s squad this month, amid an ongoing push for La Liga survival.

Martínez’s arrival also opens the door for André Ferreira to secure what is understood to be an imminent departure.

The Portuguese is all set to link up with Real Valladolid, potentially as early as today.
