A leading member of the midfield ranks at Granada has made clear his desire to link up with a rival La Liga club this summer.
That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Gonzalo Villar as the player in question.
Midfielder Villar for his part has emerged as a man in demand across the summer to date.
The 26-year-old, fresh off a solid season in the colours of the aforementioned Granada last time out, has made his way onto the radar of clubs in England and Saudi Arabia alike.
Not only that, but offers have been forthcoming on the part of sides from both countries.
Villar, however, remains unmoved.
This comes with the Spaniard having his heart set firmly on a move to another of La Liga’s clubs, in Valencia.
As per a report from Relevo’s Matteo Moretto, after talks between the parties throughout the summer, ‘the player only wants to go to Valencia and has made this clear to those around him’.
