Granada in talks to sign former Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero

Granada are in talks to sign former Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero, according to The Athletic.

The Argentine is a free agent after his United contract expired and Granada are expected to make an bid for the experienced shot-stopper.

Granada are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after Rui Silva left to join Andalusian rivals Real Betis.

Romero, now 34, kept 39 clean sheets in 61 games at Manchester United.
