Given Girona’s trailblazing season last time out which saw them massively overachieve with a third-place finish and Champions League qualification, it was only a matter of time before bigger clubs came sniffing looking for a bargain.
This is the case with a trio of Girona’s stars, who all find themselves on the radar of several different Premier League clubs. As per Mundo Deportivo, the players in question are Artem Dovbyk, Miguel Gutiérrez and Viktor Tsygankov.
The most heavily rumoured of these three is Viktor Tsygankov, who has been linked with moves to Aston Villa as well as Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Miguel Gutiérrez has found himself the subject of interest from Manchester United, as the 22-year-old managed to impress at left-back all year.
Finally, La Liga top-scorer Artem Dovbyk has been linked with a move to Chelsea, as well as Barcelona and Atlético Madrid closer to home.
Girona will face a fierce battle this summer to keep their stars at the club, as a big wave of offers is likely to be heading their way as soon as the Euros come to an end, if not sooner.
Outside of these three, even more of their stars could be the subject of heavy interest as the summer window progresses.
