La Liga outfit Girona are facing up to a potential outflux of talent with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Sunday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes at the Estadi Montilivi.
Girona are of course fresh off what proved to be a hugely underwhelming campaign last time out.
After shocking the masses en route to a 3rd-placed La Liga finish in 2023/24, the Blanquivermells were brought back down to earth in harsh fashion.
Upon the term coming to a close, in fact, Míchel’s troops found themselves in a lowly 16th, just a point clear of the relegation zone.
Such woes were attributed in no small part to a series of significant player exits last summer, as the cost of success hit Girona hard.
And if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media this weekend is anything to go by, then further high-profle departures could well be on the cards over the months ahead, too.
As per MD, the following six players are attracting interest from an array of clubs across the continent, potentially set to be on the move this summer as a result:
Daley Blind, Yáser Asprilla, Miguel Gutiérrez, Bojan Miovski, Viktor Tsygankov, and Cristhian Stuani.
