La Liga outfit Girona have on Saturday been dealt a fresh blow on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Ladislav Krejčí will play no part in the Catalans’ final pre-international break fixture.
Míchel’s troops are primed to return to action on Sunday evening, when they make the trip to the Estadio Coliseum for a league meeting with Getafe.
Heading into the matchup, the club’s squad has been decimated by injuries, with the likes of Portu, Abel Ruiz, Oriol Romeu and Viktor Tsygankov sidelined.
And, as alluded to above, late this week, the Blanquivermells have suffered yet another setback.
Míchel’s travelling squad to face Getafe was unveiled across social media this evening, with summer signing Ladislav Krejčí nowhere to be seen.
And an explanation for as much has since followed, with the Catalan outfit having announced:
‘Krejčí is out for this match due to an intramuscular injury to the soleus.’
