The latest attacking exploits on the part of Girona star Miguel Gutiérrez have secured for the defender a place in the recent history books of Spain’s top-flight.

When all was said and done, the Catalans emerged on the right side of a seven-goal thriller, to make it three wins in four across all competitions.
And the aforementioned Gutiérrez, for his part, played a starring role…
Featuring from the off from his customary berth at left-back, the Spaniard opened the scoring in the clash, before laying on an assist, too.
And, as alluded to above, in the process, Gutiérrez joined a head-turning individual club.
As per statisticians Opta, the Girona star, at 23 years and 98 days old, is the third-youngest defender to score and assist in a single La Liga fixture since the 2020/21 season:
