Girona head coach Míchel has on Saturday moved to lavish praise on a leading member of the attacking ranks at Barcelona.
This, of course, comes ahead of the latest edition of the Catalan Derby, on Sunday.
In their respective returns to action post-international break, Girona and Barcelona are set to lock horns in a highly-anticipated La Liga showdown at Montilivi, in a little over 24 hours’ time.
Ahead of the matchup, the aforementioned Míchel – who guided his side to back-to-back victories over Barca last season – in turn sat down for an exchange with the media.
And, during as much, the Spanish tactician made use of the opportunity to reveal his admiration for one Blaugrana star in particular.
The player in question? Lamine Yamal.
Speaking during a press conference this afternoon, Míchel raved about wide-man Lamine, who is fresh off a spectacular start to the new season:
“For me, Lamine is the most differential player in the league one vs one. His decision making is ‘top’ at only 17 years old.”
“He does everything well!” Girona’s headmaster concluded.
