A head-turning statistic, highlighting the excellence of Getafe star Christantus Uche in one specific area of the game, has on Tuesday come to the fore online.
This comes amid confirmation that the Nigerian is leading all players 23 and under in Europe’s top-5 leagues when it comes to offensive duels this season.
Since his arrival in the summer, Uche has quickly set about establishing himself as one of the first names on the team sheet of boss José Bordalás.
All told, in Getafe’s 14 La Liga fixtures across the season to date, the 21-year-old has featured from the off in all but one.
And, as alluded to above, the statistics showcase precisely why.
As revealed by statisticians DataMB, Uche, by some way, leads all U23 players in Europe’s top-5 leagues in the category of offensive duels.
The youngster, to date, has racked up 214 such actions this season.
