Speaking to Radio Marca, Getafe president Ángel Torres announced that the club’s current season ticket holders will receive free season tickets for the 2020-21 season.
“The 13,500 Getafe season ticket holders for the 2019-20 season will get a free season ticket for 2020-21. We are not going to charge them.”
Getafe are one of the La Liga clubs who haven’t applied for a temporary redundancy scheme. Earlier this week Real Valladolid announced they would refund their fans for losing out on the remainder of the 2019-20 games, which will be played behind closed doors provided they go ahead.
