Gerard Piqué will make his 594th appearance for Barcelona against Espanyol in the derby on Sunday night.
The fixture sees Piqué move up to fifth in the list of all-time appearance holders at the club, overtaking his former team-mate Carles Puyol, who retired having played 593 times for the club.
Barcelona will be hoping to beat rivals Espanyol after last week’s 4-2 win over Atlético Madrid.
In La Liga, Barça are currently on their longest ever unbeaten run against Espanyol and haven’t been beaten in 23 matches against their rivals.
