Gerard Piqué: “It hurts me a lot to see Sergi Roberto get booed.”

Speaking to Movistar+ after Barcelona’s 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at Camp Nou, Gerard Piqué admitted he didn’t enjoy seeing his team-mate Sergi Roberto get booed.

“It hurts me a lot to see Sergi Roberto get booed. It really hurts a lot.”

On the result

“It’s a bad result, we’re not going to lie. It is what it is, we have a lot of youngsters here. It has been a very difficult year. They [Bayern] were much better. We have players like Ansu, Ousmane, Kun to all come back and help us.”

On young players

“We have four or five players out there who are just 18. That’s the reality.”
