Villarreal and Spain forward Gerard Moreno spoke to Movistar after his team got to their first ever final.
“We fought for everything today. It’s the club’s first final. This is for our fans that couldn’t come to our games. We have to enjoy it now and thank those who have helped us. It was a good game, we tried to press high and we worked well defensively. The whole club deserves this. I prefer to get to a final and win it. It’s going to be difficult, we’re not favourites but we’re there and now we’ve to enjoy tonight. We’re the only Spanish team to get to a European final this year. I’m thrilled for everyone here. It’s tough on the fans, they can’t be here but this is for them.”
