Gerard Deulofeu has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and will miss the rest of the season, according to Watford Football Club. The Spanish forward sustained the injury during the first half of Watford’s 3-0 win against Liverpool on Saturday.
“Unfortunately for him and us, the scan results really show he is probably going to be out for the rest of the season,” head coach Nigel Pearson confirmed.
