Speaking for the first time as an Atlético Madrid player, Geoffrey Kondogbia described the pride felt after joining the Wanda Metropolitano outfit.
“It really is a source of great pride to be able to wear this shirt. I can’t wait to put it on for the first time. It’s always hard to talk about yourself, I think I can bring hard work and commitment to the club, teammates and fans. That’s the main thing, maybe I’ll be able to bring other things too.”
The 27-year-old midfielder joins on a 4-year deal from Valencia and will wear the number four shirt for Atlético.
