Games to take place every day as La Liga looks ahead to summer return

La Liga met on Thursday with all 42 clubs in Spain’s first and second divisions, according to Cadena Ser.

At the meeting, league president Javier Tebas confirmed that the season will resume on Thursday, June 11 with the Seville derby and will end on the weekend of July 19.

Matches in both divisions will take place every day, with teams playing twice per week. Fixtures will be played at 19:30 and 22:00 CET. Weekend matches in the north of Spain will start at 17:30 CET.

After finishing the league, the promotion playoff to the Primera Division will be played until August 2, once the planned health protocol is maintained.

Next week, full group training sessions involving entire squads will resume.
