Brazilian club Flamengo are interested in hiring former Spain national team coach Fernando Hierro as their new manager, according to Marca.

Hierro, a legend of Spanish football, having had a hugely successful spell at Real Madrid is being linked with the managerial vacancy at Flamengo. In 2016, Hierro was given his first full managerial role at Real Oviedo, and he also coached the Spanish national team for a brief period at the 2018 World Cup after the sacking of Julen Lopetegui.
