A former member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Sunday revealed his take that Real Madrid currently stand as the best club in world football.
The player in question? Arthur Melo.
Arthur, for his part, was in action against Carlo Ancelotti’s Real earlier today.
The Brazilian was introduced off the bench, as goals on the part of Luka Modrić and Vinícius Jr. guided the reigning Spanish champions to the right side of a 2-0 result.
Real, for the most part, dominated the matchup, with both Blancos goals on the day having been of the highest quality.
And Arthur was evidently left impressed by what he witnessed on the part of the hosts at the Santiago Bernabéu.
This comes with the on-loan Juventus man, speaking to the media post-match, having gone as far as to reveal his opinion that:
“Real Madrid, in my opinion, is the best team in the world right now.”
