Former Barcelona manager predicts dominant Blaugrana victory over Real Madrid

Former Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has this weekend provided his prediction for the club’s upcoming showdown with arch rivals Real Madrid.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action in short order.

Eager to put a devastating Champions League exit at the hands of Inter Milan in midweek firmly behind them, the Blaugrana have welcomed Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid to Catalunya’s capital, for a La Liga clash.

Hansi Flick’s troops will likely head into the matchup confident in their chances of securing a swift return to winning ways.

This comes with Barca having already put Los Blancos to the sword on a trio of separate occasions this season.

And one individual who is in no two minds when it comes to the chances of this trend continuing on Sunday is the aforementioned Luis Enrique.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of Paris Saint-Germain’s dominant victory over Montpellier on Saturday evening, ex-Barca forward and manager Enrique was asked for his prediction for today’s El Clásico.

And the Spanish tactician did not hesitate, in responding with:

“3-0 for Barcelona – easy.”
