Former Barcelona goalkeeper Rustu Reçber is in critical condition in hospital after testing positive for coronavirus, according to his wife.
Isil Reçber said on Instagram: “We have taken my husband Rustu to hospital with a COVID-19 diagnosis. While everything was normal, we are still in shock by the sudden and rapidly developing symptoms. He’s in hospital and they won’t let us see him. This is the hardest part, not being able to see him. This is a critical period and very difficult. May God give a speedy recovery to all the patients, including my husband.”
The Turkish shot-stopper played seven times for Barcelona.
