Onda Cero report that former Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde is a candidate to replace Albert Celades at Valencia and is currently house-hunting in the Spanish city with his assistant Jon Aspiazu.
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the future of under-fire coach Celades at Mestalla. On Sunday, Valencia lost 2-0 in their derby against Villarreal. It remains to be seen what the club’s board will do before the end of the season.
Valencia currently sit in 8th place in the La Liga table, eight points off a Champions League place.
