Hansi Flick and José Mourinho have both been included amongst the nominees for the Manager of the Month award in La Liga.
This of course comes fresh off stellar respective openings to the new Spanish season for Barcelona and Real Madrid.
In the case of the former, Barcelona have kickstarted the defence of their title in style, courtesy of three wins from three featuring 12 goals scored, and just two conceded.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, have managed to keep pace with their arch rivals, to the tune of nine points from nine with 10 goals on the board and two conceded.
As confirmed across La Liga’s official social media platforms, Flick and Mourinho have therefore been included on the shortlist for August’s Manager of the Month.
The two iconic tacticians are joined by Deportivo Alavés headmaster Quique Sánchez Flores, who has guided his troops to 4th place in the table, courtesy of seven points from a possible nine.
