Ez Abde will return to FC Barcelona

Barcelona loaned Ez Abde to Osasuna last summer with the arrival of Raphinha, and Ousmane Dembélé staying at the club.

Xavi had four players to play wide, including Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati, which placed Abde down the pecking order.

The club was fully aware that Abde had to play and they had to find a destination for him where he would have game time.

Osasuna was the place for him and a year later it has proven to be an excellent choice. Abde has played a leading role in Pamplona playing 26 games and scoring five goals.

His improvement has been evident and that is why Barcelona are going to recall him from the loan spell in the summer, report Marca.

The idea is that he will stay with the Barca first team next season if any of Raphinha, Ansu Fati or Ferran Torres leave the club.

Barcelona need to sell and could consider selling if good offers come in. If one of the three players mentioned above leaves, Abde will be their replacement in the squad.

The problem will be if the club cannot sell. Then the decision would be determined by the offers that come in for Abde.

The 21-year-old has a very good reputation in England and there has been interest from the Premier League, according to Mundo Deportivo.
