Everton may have to pay €40m for El Bilal Touré after seeing initial bid rejected

When Almería received €24m for the sale of Darwin Núñez, it was a huge financial boost for the Andalusian club, but the potential sale of El Bilal Touré this summer could surpass that fee.

The Mali striker arrived from Stade Reims last summer and the 21-year-old ended his debut season in La Liga with seven goals and two assists in 21 matches, as per Transfermarkt. After having such a strong breakout campaign, he has attracted interest from Premier League teams.

One team that is extremely keen on signing the Mali international is Everton. The Merseysiders have had an initial offer rejected. Superdeporte understand that the bid was between €30m and €35m.

Almería are in no rush to sell the young striker this summer which is why they are holding out for a better offer. However, the player has a release clause of €40m so if Everton want Bilal Touré they will have to pay that fee.
