Europe’s goalkeeper domino effect could affect two La Liga players this summer

The departure of David de Gea from Manchester United, and the inevitable departure of André Onana from Inter Milan has caused a massive domino effect across Europe.

Manchester United are in the final stages of negotiations with Onana and now Inter have set their sight on Bayern Munich stopper Yann Sommer. The Bundesliga champions are now preparing for the Swiss international to leave and they have identified Sevilla and Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bono as a potential replacement, according to Superdeporte

Bayern had initially met with Giorgi Mamardashvili’s representatives over signing the Valencia player, but interest in the 22-year-old has died down. Valencia have stood firm with their valuation of €25m for their shot-stopper and the German club now appear to be exploring other options with the highly-rated Bono on their shortlist.

Georgia international Mamardashvili is contracted to Valencia until 2027, but due to his huge potential and price tag, he could be sold this summer because of the financial difficulties the Mestalla club finds itself in.
