Sergi Darder has been identified by Torino as a potential replacement for Aleksey Miranchuk, according to Tuttosport.
The Espanyol midfielder has played a pivotal role in the team in recent seasons, but he experienced a disastrous campaign last time out with the club suffering relegation to the Second Division. Darder found the net on six occasions in La Liga and supplied three assists.
As reported by MD, the 29-year-old has a clause written into his contract stating that he is free to leave on loan, but only if the interested team agrees to pay 100% of Darder’s wage.
As well as Torino, Barcelona boss Xavi Hernández is a fan of the versatile midfielder, and TOT Costa report that he has even been in contact with the player. To go with the loan clause inserted into Darder’s contract, he also has a release clause of €10m in his current deal.
