Erling Haaland is keeping the option of joining Real Madrid this summer open, according to Diario AS.
The Norwegian striker’s idea is to leave both the Manchester City option and the Real Madrid option until the end of the season.
The report states that until Kylian Mbappé has an agreement in place with Madrid, he will not decide to move to Pep Guardiola’s Man City side.
Bild journalist Christian Falk has spoken about Haaland, saying: “Sources in the Dortmund dressing room have told me that Haaland’s dream remains to sign for Real Madrid.”
Haaland has already told Borussia Dortmund that he will leave the club and Dortmund have moved quickly to sign a replacement.
Karim Adeyemi (20) will join from RB Salzburg. He has scored 21 goals this season, including three in the Champions League.
Mbappé is Madrid’s number one target. Other targets include Antonio Rüdiger, who is reportedly close to joining Los Blancos.
