Elche are favourites to sign Álex Collado on loan from Barcelona, according to Adrià Albets.
Girona, Valladolid, Almería, Celtic and Olympiacos are all interested in signing the midfielder. Of the offers he has received, Elche is the one that excites him the most.
Collado has a contract at Barcelona until 2024 and there is no intention to extend his deal, as reported by Relevo. He has had a conversation with Xavi where he told the Barcelona coach that he wants to leave the club as he does not want to spend the next season on the bench.
Both parties agreed that a loan move could be beneficial for his development as it would allow him to get more games under his belt and showcase his potential.
Collado and the Blaugrana are confident that a new destination will be found for the Spaniard soon.
The 23-year-old spent part of last season on loan at Granada, where he scored two goals in 17 appearances in La Liga.
