Eibar are interested in signing midfielder Mikel San José from Athletic Club, according to Noticias de Navarra.
The 30-year-old’s contract is up in the summer and Athletic haven’t made an offer to extend his current deal. Eibar midfielder Gonzalo Escalante is set to join Lazio at the end of the season and San José would be a like for like replacement.
Osasuna and Real Valladolid are also reportedly interested in the player, who has been an ever-present at San Mames since the 2009-10 season. This season he has made just nine appearances in La Liga.
