Eden Hazard reveals admiration for Real Madrid trio Bellingham, Vinícius & Rodrygo

Former Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has this week provided an insight into his admiration for three current members of Los Blancos’ ranks.

As much came during an extensive interview with John Obi Mikel, which saw 33-year-old Hazard open up on a whole host of topics surrounding his time in Spain’s capital.

With the attacker now retired from the game, he has been afforded the chance to watch on from afar, at the fine campaign being enjoyed by his former teammates in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

One such player comes in the form of Vinícius Jr, who of course long stood as the player directly ahead of Hazard in the left wing pecking order in Madrid.

Evidently, though, the Belgian does not bear ‘Vini’ any ill will, having had the following to say when drawn on his talents:

“Vinicius will be one of the top [players in the world] for 10, 15 years.”

Of another of Real Madrid’s Brazilian contingent, Hazard also spoke highly, adding that:

“I am a huge fan of Rodrygo.”

Last up, the one-time Chelsea standout was asked for his thoughts on a player whom he just missed out on the chance to play alongside.

The Blancos star in question? Jude Bellingham.

“Jude Bellingham?” Hazard began. “Wow. What a player. I had a chance to talk with him, he’s a nice guy. I watched him at Dortmund. When he was 18/19… he was already special.”
