Atlético Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has confirmed his plans between the posts for the club’s upcoming showdown with Barcelona.
Atléti, of course, are set to kick their Copa del Rey campaign back into gear tomorrow night.
In the first of a two-legged semi-final tie, the Rojiblancos will make the trip to Catalunya’s capital, for a meeting with the aforementioned Barcelona.
The outcome of the clash could well prove decisive towards who ultimately triumphs from the tie, to book a spot in the Copa finale.
This, though, will not stop Diego Simeone from leaving one of his key players out of Atlético’s XI to take to the pitch at Montjuïc.
Speaking to the media in a pre-match press conference on Monday, the Argentine was drawn on his goalkeeper plans for Tuesday.
Jan Oblak has played no part in Atlético’s Copa campaign to date, with Juan Musso having been afforded a chance to showcase his talents.
And the latter is set to continue between the sticks against Barcelona.
“Juan [Musso] will definitely start in goal against Barcelona tomorrow,” Simeone announced.
