Diego Carlos has told Sevilla he wants to leave the club in order to move to Newcastle, according to Sky Sports.
The Premier League club are pushing to sign the 28-year-old and will try to close the deal with Sevilla in the next few days. The La Liga side have already turned down two offers from the Magpies and now the Brazilian is writing a transfer request to send to the club’s manager and president.
AS report that the English side are offering the defender three times more than what he earns at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. The latest offer from Newcastle is for a reported €45 million.
