‘Die for you’ – Raphinha sends emotional message to Barcelona fans after UCL exit

Barcelona star Raphinha has taken to social media on Wednesday, to provide his reaction to the club’s heartbreaking exit from the Champions League.

Raphinha, of course, was in from the off once more last night, as Barca welcomed Paris Saint-Germain to Catalunya’s capital for the 2nd leg of the quarter-final showdown between the clubs.

And, after doing likewise to the tune of a brace in the opener at the Parc des Princes, the Brazilian was on target once more on Tuesday, putting the hosts in front inside the opening quarter of an hour.

Unfortunately for Raphinha and the Blaugrana alike, however, this is as good as things got for them at Montjuïc, as Ronald Araújo’s dismissal sparked an explosive PSG comeback, en route to an eventual 4-1 result.

Raphinha, for his part, looked absolutely crestfallen on the back of the full-time whistle, consoled by his teammates and manager Xavi alike.

And now, as alluded to above, the 27-year-old has spoken out for the first time.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Raphinha on Wednesday evening unveiled a heartfelt message, assuring the Barcelona faithful that he is ready to ‘die’ for them moving forward:

“Proud of the team. Proud of the club. I fight and die for you.”
