The details of an angry message sent the way of Arda Güler by Real Madrid teammate Vinícius Jr. this past weekend have come to the fore online.
Real are of course fresh off kicking their schedule for the 2026/27 campaign into gear. After making the trip to Catalunya to take on Espanyol, Los Blancos ultimately emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result.
José Mourinho’s troops were made to fight for their eventual three points, requiring a last-gasp Carlos Espí winner to avoid what would have been a disappointing draw.
Along the way, a number of the visitors’ star performers were therefore left looking understandably frustrated with proceedings, none more so than the aforementioned Vinícius Jr.
The Brazilian endured something of an outing to forget at the RCDE Stadium, struggling to make any sort of positive impact.
And as alluded to above, at one point, this frustration culminated in Vinícius taking aim at one of his teammates. As confirmed in footage to have since come to the fore online, after Arda Güler opted against passing the ball Viní’s way, the latter responded by shouting:
”Arda, give it to me just once, man! It’s always the same…”
